TOY BOX was the project name for an unreleased gacha game. The story followed the player as they revisited their childhood home after their the death of their parents.

During their exploration, the player would happen upon their old toy box, and be drawn into a world of their own imagination. However, this world has rapidly decayed in the years since they've grown out of it.

Coella was the main mascot and face of the Toy Box Project. She was often depicted in promotional material and branding.

In universe, Coella was the princess of a long forgotten kingdom within the players imagination. Her kingdom had been slowly destroyed as the player grew up and forgot about their childhood.

Coella has a very upbeat and smiley personality. Shes very affectionate if not a little attention seeking at times. This overwhelmingly happy persona is largely a front to mask her anxieties. Shes paranoid about being alone, ignored, and forgotten again. Coella is considerably more knowledgeable about the laws and physics of her world compared to those around her. She takes advantage of this to emphasize everything. Generally, Coella uses this knowledge to aid her citizens or simply amuse herself. But she is not unwilling to resort to violence, especially if it means defending her people.

Coella experiences very heightened emotions, but struggles to relate to the feelings of others due to her isolation. During conflict, she often becomes blinded by her own emotions and lashes out without thinking. The guilt that follows often leads Coella to isolate herself further.

Despite this, Coella cares very deeply for the well being of her citizens and especially of those close to her, even if she seems a bit out-of-touch at times. This compassionate, emotional core drives the majority of her actions

Within the games meta, Coella was intended to be one of the stronger characters, being a six-star character. Her playstyle revolved around her two minor abilities, Bunny Hop and Rewind. The former allowed Coella to teleport out of harm's way a short distance away. This could be used to sneak behind enemies or dodge attacks. The latter allowed Coella to rewind time and regain a percentage of health lost from the most recent hit. Both of these abilities would run on a 10 second cooldown. However, once they were back up, players would have a 15 second opportunity to use them. If players abstained from using these abilities, they would transform into special points. These special points could be collected to use Coellas special attack, Rabbit Hole. During this, an animation would play where she would drag surrounding enemies into the rabbit hole as theyre hit by falling objects. This was intended as a medium sized AOE attack to chip away at multiple enemies health.
